A History
Our program has been around for four years is my guess. The first year a bunch of friends all formed it and were not so good, but they found a coach and by year 2 they did really well in an early tournament and were ranked top 30 in the nation for a minute (again, this is all based solely off of what I've heard). They made it to regionals and missed going to nationals on universe point against I believe UC Irvine. Then the year after, the team sort of nosedived. Most of the people from the years past team graduated and nobody was left to take over. Year three saw a new group of friends come in to the mix. Well, 2 new groups of friends that both loved to play frisbee, and they sort of randomly found each other. So we formed a team, again. Went to a tournament in Utah, won our first game, played Huckfest in Irvince, won a couple games, played Lucky 7's, won one more. Went to Trouble in Vegas and went 5-4, including a stampede comeback from 7-1 at half to take the game 13-11. (the write up is on the events page incase you want to live the glory too). Anyway, now here in year four I've (Air Bud) been given the reigns. This was really the first year we've actively recruited so we can have more than just a team for a couple years until we graduate. We haven't been as successful this year yet, but we're playing harder competition. Our entire roster will be together for at least one more year, and most for two more...so there will be great opportunity to grow.
